The United States is Celebrating One Million Transplants! |
Last week marked a major milestone- 1 MILLION solid organ transplants completed in the United States. This lifesaving milestone could not have been reached without the selfless decision of the donor and the support of the donor's family. We invite you, wherever you are, to take a few moments to reflect and remember the lifesaving gift given by organ, eye and tissue donors.

National DMV Appreciation Month is Here! |
National DMV Appreciation Month occurs in September each year and is a time for the Donate Life Community to say "thank you" and show its appreciation of DMV partners across the country through national and local events and outreach. This is a time where we say "thank you" to the DMV and Driver Services staff in Colorado and Wyoming for registering 99% of donors in both states each year! Without this key partnership with the DMV and Driver Services, we would not be as successful at completing our mission to save lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Northglenn High School Children's Book Presentation

As a part of our educational outreach, Donor Alliance has an educational partnership with Northglenn High School. Each year, the students undertake a nine-week project based learning unit about organ and tissue donation and transplantation. For their final project in April 2022, they created Children's books about organ and tissue donation and transplantation. As their partner, we evaluated the books and chose seven to print with the intention of providing these to our Transplant Center partners. We would like to invite you to attend our Children's Book giveaway event on Wednesday, October 12th at 1:30pm at the Lowry Reading Garden. Some of the student authors and their teachers would like to present their books to each transplant center and AlloSource as well as our Donor Alliance staff. Special Project: T-Shirt Prep for UW Game!
Each year, we partner with the University of Wyoming Sports Properties to participate in several different sporting events throughout the school year.

At these events, we have the opportunity to share our lifesaving message with giveways! Help us reach this large audience of Cowboy fans by rolling t-shirts and wrapping them with our signature green Donate Life bracelets. These shirts will be thrown to registered donors during commercial breaks of UW football and basketball games! Each fall, Lutheran hosts the Lutheran Fall Fest for our caregivers and their families. We have music, food trucks, photo booth, pumpkin decorating and more!
