Join us as we unveil the New London County Affordable Housing Plan Scorecards!
CHEO, in partnership with Regional Plan Association and Desegregate CT, read, reviewed and scored the local affordable housing plans adopted by communities in New London County, assessing them against the recommendations in the Connecticut Department of Housing’s Planning for Affordability in Connecticut guidebook.

During this free event, a panel of experts and local leaders will discuss the content of these plans, the opportunities they offer for the region, how to translate them into action, and why they matter for residents of Eastern CT. Affordable housing plans submitted by towns in Tolland County and Windham County will be reviewed in the coming months.

These plans and the conversations they are generating are an important starting point for making Eastern Connecticut more affordable for everyone.
