Tuckahoe Mayor Omayra Andino recognizes Ai Design on 30th Anniversary

On March 9th, 2022, Tuckahoe Mayor Omayra Andino presented Ai Design founder Matt Figliola with a proclamation marking the company’s 30th year in business. Local dignitaries, business leaders and industry executives were present to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Half a million? Gulp!

A good client who loves fast cars, and Big Gulps, asked us to modify the console on his new Ferrari 812 GTS to hold his favorite drink cup.


So we designed and 3D printed a new cupholder to securely hold the Big Gulp...and the video is approaching 500,000 views!

Modding a Porsche...with clay?

This client has a 997 Turbo but doesn't love the look of the side intakes. So we're creating new parts that will emulate the more rounded look of the intakes on the 959 supercar. First step: Liz using her modeling skills to get the basic shape with Plastalene before 3D scanning. Well over 100,000 views so far!

Behind the scenes: Our new website blog

While most vehicles come to us in stock form—often fresh from the dealer—sometimes we receive a vehicle that has seen…some stuff. A vehicle that has been modded, or in many cases, molested, elsewhere. And the owner wants it fixed. Or rebuilt properly. We call these projects: rescues.


We recently completed an 18-month long rescue of a good client’s McLaren 720S. It was a doozy.

Our client, who is a very notable collector with incredibly high standards, wanted to retrofit air conditioning on his beloved Mercedes-Benz 220S, without doing any irreversible physical changes to the car. On the surface, this may seem simple.
