Stretch Affect
Local movement & health company Stretch Affect held their grand opening on August 13, 2021, and selected Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito as their beneficiary raising a total of $15,060.90! Proceeds were raised through a raffle and silent auction featuring auction items including equipment and jerseys signed by Manny Machado and Carlin Isles. All proceeds from the event will go towards Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito's Back to School Campaign helping us support our youth.
Crust Golf Tournament
Crust Pizza in Solana Beach organized and held a golf tournament on Monday, August 30 benefiting our Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito athletic programs. The sold-out tournament raised $19,700 through its 144 players and a raffle. Thanks to Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, for allowing Crust Pizza to host the tournament, and big thanks to Crust Pizza for their amazing support! 
Deep Diving into Pool Maintenance
with Swim-pressive Results
Our annual pool maintenance had our Pardee Aquatics Center closed down for a two-week stretch last month. A lot of vital maintenance projects were completed including;

  • Draining, cleaning, and refilling both pools
  • Repairing broken tiles, rust spots, and cracks in and around the pools
  • Deep cleaning pool deck and locker rooms
  • Replacing lane lines and all broken parts
  • Replaced broken chlorine pumps
  • Performed maintenance on: heaters, pumps, filters, and much more
  • Clean kitchen/snack bar

Our aquatics team also worked on our lap and masters registration process, hiring for Coaches and Lifeguards, and a lot or organizing behind the scenes. Learn more about our Pardee Aquatics Center and swim programs here.

Fall Openings at Carmel Valley Montessori School
We have a few spots still available in our Primary 2-3-year-olds classrooms.
