Dear Global Christian Warriors,
Much more needs to be done, but one result of the elections in the USA yesterday was the beginning removal of some wicked, really ungodly spirits driving certain politicians who lost their seats. Instead of the humble, Godly dependence on the Living God that the Pilgrims embodied and committed to in their Mayflower Compact, a number of legislators who lost seats yesterday represented the thinking of humanists who disregard, if not mock, the Living God Whose miracles formed this nation.
In the absence of these humanists, we now need to confess, and repent, and thereby refresh the Mayflower Compact.
The situation is described by the Lord in Matthew 12:43-45 and in Luke 11: 24-26:
" When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says: ' I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation."
I believe this applies to nations as well as individuals. We can't allow seven other spirits more wicked than the first to rule our nation. We have a deep spiritual problem in this nation; just a political change of legislators doesn't address the problem.
So we, the "repentance remnant" must fill the "house": the House of Representatives, the White House, each Statehouse, with Holy Spirit-based prayers of intercession for a return to our once-Godly roots in this nation.
Please join us this coming Friday, November 11, the 402nd anniversary of the signing of the Mayflower Compact for a one hour time of repentance and refreshing of those Godly roots. The text of the Compact is on our website: www.americakneels.com. The Holy Spirit is present throughout the text, including the first six words; " In the name of God, Amen." The text includes this key phrase: "Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and advancements of the Christian faith... we do solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one another; covenant and combine ourselves together into a civii body politic..."
May that submission and honoring of Almighty God, through our confession and repentance, be restored to the United States of America!
