Grace Christian University
Attend A University That Can Give You More Than A Degree

There are hundreds of institutes, colleges, and universities out there. Many of them are good schools too. Why come to Grace Christian University then? We remind students often that any school can provide them with a degree. Many of them will prepare you well for your career. Few of the schools prepare you for life outside of the classroom and your workplace. That is something that Grace deeply values! We design our programs and campus culture in such a way that you are prepared for all of life.

Mission Statement
Graduating godly individuals prepared
to serve Christ in church and society.
Preparing graduates for life beyond our campus is built into the fabric of who we are. Here is what some of our recent graduates had to say.

"My time at Grace was one of the most fruitful and fundamental seasons in my life. My professors invested in my growth in and out of the classroom intentionally, always opening their door to discussion related to assignments, frustrations, and life. My spiritual formation was integrated as the primary focus for every class I took. I left with a humbling life changing experience that I was honored to be a part of, brilliant in every way.” - Kevin McKissick | Seminary Student

"During my time at Grace, I learned how to think critically about what it means to be a follower of Christ. My fellow students became life-long friends. My professors are now my colleagues and comrades. The entire process formed me to pursue peace, love, gentleness, and a gracious life." - Joseph Johnson | Associate Pastor

"Attending Grace Christian University was the best decision of my entire life, because it set me on course to end up exactly where I am today. It literally trained and prepared me with every tool I currently use daily for my career in the music industry. The professors were super knowledgeable and cared about ME as a person. The biblical focus built a foundation for me to build upon for the rest of my life as I continue to grow in Christ. I am more than thankful for my experience at Grace. Because of Grace Christian University, I literally get to do what I love every single day and more than provide for my growing family."
- Tommee Profitt | Music Producer

Lake Region State College -- a small college with a big heart

That family atmosphere and lookout for student wellbeing is why many homeschool students choose Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND.

Michaela Osborne is one of those students.

“It was nice that LRSC is small. The faculty are so approachable. The cost was reasonable and I wanted to start at a smaller college. I didn’t want to pay a huge price for the same thing and get lost in the shuffle,” she said.

Michaela quickly became involved on campus and participates in the marketing club, DECA; CRU; and is a Royal Ambassador for campus activities and events.
“It is so easy to get involved,” she said.

Enrolled in the college Business Administration Program, she hopes to start a sled dog tourism-based business when she completes her college studies and she’s on the path to complete that degree on a campus that cares about each student.

“It’s a nice, easy step. Your apprehension leaves once you step foot on campus because everyone is there to help.”

The college is small with most classrooms, residence halls, library, bookstore and dining area under one roof. The Bergstrom Technical Center, which houses Nursing, Wind Energy, Automotive Technology, Electronics, and Law Enforcement, is located less than a block away from the main structure. The Precision Ag program is in a location one-mile north of the campus.

“What makes LRSC a great opportunity is class sizes are small with lots of one-on-one interaction; but the college offers other opportunities to students like entrepreneurship, internships, and even apprenticeships. Students have the option of traditional college path and fast entry into workforce-ready careers,” said Doug Darling, LRSC President.

Services are available for all students. Tutoring and advising services are provided by the TRiO and PowerSkills Center. Support comes in the form of advising, tutoring, career planning.

“Many students need that smaller environment to transition from high school or the workforce to college. Our services give students that guide map to make it,” said Dr. Cathleen Ruch, director of the college’s TRiO Student Support Services program.

Admissions staff are prepared to work with students from both public and homeschool backgrounds. Past homeschool students have said the college staff and faculty are welcoming and helpful.

Manhattan Christian College
Become the Thunder at Manhattan Christian College

Manhattan Christian College exists to impact the world for Christ. Founded in 1927 by Dr. Eugene C. Sanderson, the vision of the college has always been that every student and graduate would be prepared and motivated to penetrate the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ regardless of their chosen profession.

MCC is a private, Christian college with a very strategic location across the street from a major university. Those two characteristics combine to help MCC provide a unique training ground for young leaders to help them become the best they can be to better the world around them.

The rigorous academic programs are rooted in the Bible and help students receive an education that deepens their knowledge of God’s Word, matures them in their personal relationship with Christ, and prepares them to be able to share the Gospel in their sphere of influence. Students have the opportunities to grow spiritually and intellectually in a variety of settings such as the classroom, chapel, residence halls, mission trips, small groups, local church involvement, and their own personal worship.
Today, there is more than one way to be a student and MCC is committed to providing creative and flexible learning opportunities. Classes are offered during the day, in the evening, or online through interactive classrooms.

MCC’s mission is summed up in these words, “to educate, equip, and enrich Christian leaders.”
To fulfill that mission, leadership training is an intentional focus of the student experience.

Students are prepared to be leaders who serve Christ and others. Hands-on experience is strongly encouraged to help them develop their unique God-given strengths and abilities.
The strength of the MCC experience is found in relationships. The college is a close-knit community of believers where personal relationships with fellow students as well as faculty and staff are the norm. Life-long friendships, that will help support them throughout their life of service, are forged in every facet of the life of the college.

God has called every believer to “go into all the world.”

Manhattan Christian College exists to develop leaders who are, first and foremost, servants of Christ with a passion to change the world and a willingness to go wherever God leads.
