Last year we offered a discount to the conference in which one ticket could be purchased at full price and a second at half price. It was quite successful as you might imagine, so this year we are bringing it back in a slightly different form. It's now a group discount for any registration of two or more people, and the savings are huge. So if you're planning to come to the conference, bring one or more friends, and you'll all save $100 on general admission!

In other news, on a more personal note, now that my dissertation is essentially finished, I've found that after ten years in school, I suddenly have a lot of time on my hands. So in order to keep busy, I've found some interesting things to do, including training as a certified clinical trauma professional, starting my next book, and learning how to use video editing software.
I had no idea it would be so strange to be finished with school after so many years. Now I understand what retirement feels like.

Next step... find an adjunct (visiting faculty) teaching job. If you have any leads, please let me know.
