Ram Dass
April 6, 1931 -
December 22, 2019
Of all the spiritual teachers who've inspired and guided me over the decades, Ram Dass was my number one. I rejoice that he has now left his body, and I am broadcasting endless messages of gratitude to his beautiful spirit for the gifts he's given to me and to the world.
In THIS VIDEO, he talks about what it's like for healers to work with death, and the challenges of keeping our egos out of the way. It's also an important teaching for those who have a hard time letting go of loved ones who are dying.
And for bereaved parents, there is nothing more beautiful and more appropriate than his "
Letter to Rachel
," offering words of wisdom to the parents of a murdered 12 year-old girl.
Blessings on your sacred journey beloved teacher. And thank you for everything you brought to us.

Preaching to the Choir
We know we're preaching to the choir here, but if you have any skeptics in your circle of friends of family, this article in Canada's National Post might be just the thing to share with them. It takes a close look into the work of one of our heroes, Dr. Sam Parnia, who coined the term "resuscitation medicine" to address the phenomenon of near-death experience. With enough media coverage of this sort, perhaps the next generation will grow up accepting NDEs as a natural part of human experience.

Scientific and Spiritual Implications of Psychic Abilities
Physicist Russell Targ describes the very best evidence for extrasensory perception, precognition, intuitive diagnosis and distant healing. He describes many of these applications, together with the spiritual implications of psychic abilities from the Hindu mystic Patanjali, and the Dzogchen dharma masters, down to the present time, as they might be applied to expanding ones timeless and nonlocal awareness.

"The ego is frightened by death because ego is part of the incarnation and ends with it. That is why we learn to identify with our soul, as the soul continues after death. For the soul, death is just another moment." -- Ram Dass
