Aftermarket is No Afterthought

It’s no secret that we pride ourselves on building the most durable, reliable service truck bodies in the industry. They are meant to outlast daily wear in the most-challenging environments. In fact, we engineer them so reliable and durable, it often means they outlast the original chassis. Instead of buying a whole new service truck, you have another option — remount the body onto a new chassis.

Remounting for Extended Life

At Service Trucks International (STI), our experienced support team provides complete repair, remount, and reconditioning services for STI service trucks, crane trucks, and custom truck bodies. Whether your truck chassis is worn out, you’ve been in an accident, or you’re ready to reconfigure and upgrade your existing service truck, our service department has the knowledge and expertise to get your rig back to work.

When it’s time to update your service truck, we offer complete remount solutions, including:

  • New PTO and hydraulic pump installation
  • Electrical system upgrades and rewiring
  • Crane testing and body stability inspections for safety and compliance
  • Hydraulic system service and troubleshooting

Our shop also provides a wide range of service truck and crane maintenance options, including:

  • Repainting, repair, and protective bedlining to extend body life
  • Upgrades and installation of auxiliary equipment such as compressors, welders, and generators
  • DOT inspections

Remounting, combined with targeted repairs and service, can extend the life of your service body and save you money in the long run. From minor updates to full reconditioning, we deliver factory-quality workmanship that restores your truck to like-new condition.

DOT Inspections & Safety Testing

Keeping your service truck in peak operating condition is a must for efficiency, safety, and DOT compliance. The STI Service Department now provides comprehensive DOT inspections, in addition to our factory body and crane inspections.

Our truck inspection process includes a complete front-to-back evaluation, ensuring every component meets performance and safety standards. If issues are found, our technicians can perform the necessary repairs, adjustments, or reconditioning.

For maximum convenience, you can now schedule an in-house DOT inspection directly with STI. Most DOT inspections can be completed within 48 hours. This ensures your service truck or crane truck remains fully compliant, road-ready, and worksite reliable. Need pickup and delivery? Depending on your location, we can also arrange transport for your service truck.

Whether you need a service body remount, service body repair, or complete truck reconditioning, STI’s service department is your trusted partner for keeping your fleet reliable, compliant, and ready for next week's job list.
