Making a Good Thing Better
We have exciting news for our Agassiz Baldwin community! We’re thrilled to announce the merge of the ABC afterschool program with Maud Morgan Arts!

Since the pandemic, we’ve had to pivot as a team to meet our community's needs. Now more than ever, we've recognized the importance of a safe and consistent afterschool environment for our students -- a space where social-distance play and tactile art making may be fused together.

Our core mission as an agency has not changed and we believe wholeheartedly that our students need to have social and emotional support, peer engagement, and new experiences off the screen to make their days exciting and engaging. Thanks to the Maud Morgan Arts Center, we are in a unique position to provide the tangible, in-person arts programming our community needs.

Starting Monday, October 19th...
We will begin our Afterschool program, which allows other 2nd-8th graders who are not eligible for in person school to join us at 3:15pm for Afterschool!

Starting Monday, October 26th...
Enrolled afterschool students will have the opportunity to take a break from their hectic day of remote learning and relax, jumping into low-pressure art making activities. We are offering a range of fine arts opportunities, including hand building ceramics, mixed media paper arts, printmaking, and core fundamentals of fine art to students grades 2-8. 

After a successful summer of Outback programming and a three-week session of Wednesday Art Afternoons, we’re ready to introduce the best arts- and play-based afterschool experience for our community. We hope that you join us after school in our outdoor and indoor studios and classrooms. After Registering...
Once you register online, we will need the following documentation on file. Please submit the following to Registration by emailing

Schedule Options, Tuition Rates, and Billing
The below tuition rates reflect the amount due for each two-week period (recurring billing will begin 10/19 for 10/26-11/6 billing period) and include the non-refundable $100 student fee. We accept vouchers from Child Care Choices of Boston and offer limited financial aid. Contact Ashley or call 617.349.6287 x19 for support.

Tuition Rates by Schedule Option
  1. Monday-Friday - $358 online, $350 by check or ACH
  2. Monday, Wednesday, Friday - $255 online, $250 by check or ACH
  3. Tuesday, Thursday - $203 online, $200 by check or ACH

Afterschool Programming will begin at 3:15pm. Pick up will be from 5:30-6pm. After the first week of afterschool programming, we will be able to share an update about specific arts programming for each day of afterschool for each pod of students.
Tuition Payment and Refund Policies
Please note: Because we are starting the afterschool program in the middle of a two-week billing period, the amount due upon registration will be half of what is typically billed. On 10/19, enrolled families will receive the first recurring invoice, which covers the billing period from 10/26-11/6.

  • Afterschool Only Tuition will be billed every two weeks and includes a $100 student fee that is non-refundable and will be included every two weeks in your bill.
  • If a family withdraws at any point before or during the two-week session, they will receive a 75% refund for remaining days, but not the $100 fee.
  • We will not refund or reduce rates for general absences.
  • If we have to close the program, we will refund 50% for remaining days in the week of the closure, and fully refund any remaining paid weeks with the exception of the non-refundable student fee(s).
  • If a family increases their child's enrollment during the session, they will owe the difference in tuition for the days remaining in the two-week session, and recurring billing will be adjusted accordingly.

Changes such as an addition of days for virtual learning or afterschool will depend on availability at the time and must be submitted in writing to

  1. Pay online with a credit card
  2. Select "Pay Later" at checkout and submit either an ACH (automatic withdrawal form + voided check) or check payment at discounted rate within three business days of enrolling
