Climate Smart Research Tour: JBS

Industry professionals and affiliates from JBS visited ARDEC this past month.


During their visit, Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson and Dr. Pedro Carvalho gave an overview of AgNext discussing our world-renowned team, research interests, and research capabilities.

After a brief discussion, the JBS visitors toured the Climate-Smart Research Facility to see our innovative research taking place in real-time.

This visit was an excellent opportunity to share our research capabilities in sustainable animal agriculture with industry professionals interested in this important work.

College of Agricultural Sciences Graduate Student Research Showcase

AgNext graduate students Afrin Jannat, Ashley Schilling, Lauren Newman, and Ines Mesa presented at the Colorado State University College of Agricultural Sciences Graduate Student Research Showcase earlier this month.

This event showcased the work of over 50 graduate students and allowed the AgNext graduate students to present their research to judges, faculty, and peers.
