CSU Animal Science Involvement Fair

AgNext set up shop at the College of Agriculture's Undergraduate Involvement Fair within the Animal Science department to inform students about our sustainability research.

Nathan Delay, Ph.D.


Dr. DeLay is excited to work with AgNext to explore how digital tools can be leveraged to improve livestock sustainability and productivity in Colorado.

John Ritten, Ph.D. 


Dr. Ritten's research interests include the intersection of agricultural production and natural resource management. He will be joining AgNext in the fall of 2022.

Greg Toma, Ph.D.


Dr. Thoma will be joining AgNext within the role of Associate Professor and is currently lead investigator for a number of life cycle initiatives in the food and agriculture sector.

Diego Manriquez-Alvarez​, Ph.D.


Dr. Manriquez-Alvarez​ is interested in applying a systematic approach to ensure dairy system sustainability. He is passionate about the role animal health plays in food security and in the sustainability of dairy systems. He will join the AgNext team in the Spring of 2023. 


Pedro Carvalho​, Ph.D.


Dr. Carvalho has conducted applied research projects to enhance beef production from dairy bull calves, i.e., antimicrobial alternatives in feedlot diets, beef on dairy crosses, and different dietary and implant programs for calf-fed Holstein and Holstein cross; and is the host of the CattleCal podcast and newsletter."
