Agape CYM Dance

Practices will begin in preparation for Youth Sunday on January 29, 2023.

Practice dates will be January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.  

Dance practice will take place from 10am-1pm on the CYM side. Please dress comfortably. Bring $3 to assist with lunch and a towel. We will provide bottled water.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Honor Roll

Agape CYM is calling all Honor Rollers for the 2nd 9 weeks and /or 6 weeks grading period. All Scholars who made A, B or AB Honor Roll are requested to submit a copy of their Report Card via the google form by January 16, 2023. 

Youth Sunday Service

Youth Sunday is back in action on Sunday January 29, 2023. There will be singing, dancing, a panel discussion and a great Time with our Children and Youth Ministry. Please come in your Jeans, tshirt and a praise to encourage and hear our Children and Youth give back to Jesus.

Rooted and Grounded Journals

CYM introduces the New All Rooted and Grounded Journal for 2023. Every lesson, every activity, all due dates for Honor Roll, Summer Reading Challenge, Community Service, the Give backs and all things CYM is in this journal. All journals fosters the independence for each CYMer to not only stay up to date and engaged with us physically, but even if they miss a Sunday it will give them continued study engagement. Each Journal will be available for $10. 

Agapé CYM January Giveback

For January we will be seeking to raise $250 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities to supply them with pantry staples and snacks for the families they serve. The RMHC provides essential care like places of respite for parents', space for children to be children, and communities of support for all family members dealing with a child's medical crisis at no to low cost. For every seed sown to CYM during the month of January will go towards this endeavour.Please help us reach our goal by sowing a seed via

Loose Change

Agape CYM would like for all Children and Youth to have seed to sow during offering time in CYM so we want to ask if you have any loose change you can give us to ensure every child that comes in we can provide an offering if they don't have one. No one gets left out in CYM as we are inclusive for all to participate. If you have any loose change please see Ms. LaTonya or Mrs. Melanie or you can also drop off at the church office during open hours.

January CYM Study 

Rooted and Grounded in Fasting and Sacrifice. As a corporate body we will be fasting from January 9-February 28, however what does this mean to young people? Are we just being mean and telling them they can't have something or watch something? Why fast anyway? Is Fasting going to make God move faster for me? CYM will dive in to give all young hearts and minds clarity and understanding in biblical context to the reasons for fasting, the different types of fast and give them an opportunity to determine what will they sacrifice for Christ in this time. They will know that fasting doesn't move God, it moves us. They will also understand it's not just fasting, but increased prayer time. The two-way communication between them and God increases over the next 51 days. We will provide them the roots for fasting and sacrifice, so they stay grounded for a lifetime.
