Wear your favorite PJs and we will provide the hot chocolate!
Your Agape Security Team met on Saturday November 3 rd to review what we have already done and plan for the coming months. Lisa O will be meeting with the BOD soon to share a presentation that she created with information gained from church safety seminars. With BOD approval this presentation will be shared and discussed with congregants at a later date.

Some reminders – we ask that once service begins on Sundays that travel between the church and Fellowship Hall ceases (with the exception of the Sunday School teachers and students going over and coming back later for communion). This is s that we can keep access to the church and Fellowship Hall at a minimum for our safety.

Your security team is doing what we can to keep our eyes and ears open while we are at church but we constantly need your help as well. Your eyes and ears are also extremely important! PLEASE say something to a security team member or BOD member if you see or hear anything out of the ordinary while on church property. It is better for us to safely check it out than ignore it.

An important reminder for security, BOD and ALL church members – never confront a suspicious individual or individuals on church property. You should immediately let security/BOD know and go to a safe spot. Security will call 911 so the FHPD can handle the situation.

More next time!

Holy God, you are the creator who breathes all life into being. Even as we thank you for our lives, so we pray that you give us the eyes to see your creation as you do.

As greed and the desire for power overwhelm and control many in the world, so nations and peoples are displaced, and uncountable numbers of your people, each with a name, each with a face, each with loved ones, are thrown into confusion and despair. Holy God, give us hearts to feel their pain and respond with your love.

Brother Jesus, you walked the earth touching those in pain, healing those with dis-ease. We want to lift to you particularly all who are living with HIV. Today this is becoming for so many in power, and even in our churches the forgotten and hidden infection. Shine your light anew on the loneliness and isolation which HIV cause. Let your church be your hands, your heart, your feet in the world, going where others fear to go, bringing your healing touch of inclusivity.

Holy Spirit, your pass through and between your people. Fill us again with your wisdom that in the infinity of time from one second to another you guide us, your people into knowing your will for those we encounter.
