Notes from AYM/CEO Gordy Lange:
Finally, the pandemic restrictions are disappearing and AYM can move forward where God would have us impacting our youth with our Fellowship-Knowledge-Go programs.
As a follow-up, I am meeting on August 16th with representatives from those churches that participated in our Valley of the Son Youth event. My prayer is that Dan Parcell, the developer of the DDBS, will be able to come with me to the meeting to encourage establishing another DDBS in the Phoenix Valley, and that these churches would want to use our “Fellowships-Knowledge-Go” Program as additional resource for their churches.
Our Board of Directors will be meeting in Pinetop for its 2nd Quarterly Meeting. On the agenda is a proposal from me for AYM to sponsor an Apologetics Conference in the spring of 2023 in the East Phoenix Valley and in the White Mountains. The theme could be “Using Biblical Apologetics against the WOKE culture.” My vision is to bring in speakers from the Apologetics Press Ministry and a panel of our students to ask questions of the speaker regarding this topic related to their generation’s concerns.
My prayer is that ALL churches will focus on developing programs for our youth.
Our Fellowship Program is a great opportunity for Youth Groups in a community to come together for a back-to-school celebration event supported by AYM’s Community Youth Group Program for this next school year.
The Knowledge PROGRAMS include:
-The Student Leadership Program, which is a 3-Year Commitment.
-The Dig Deeper Bible School is a 2-year, 4 semester in-depth study, which is supported by our Community Youth Groups.
-One-week World Vision Summer Camp.
-6- 8 Weeks with Teen Missions international, and
-A 3–9-month Internship/Residency program.
GO! Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations… Matthew 28:18-20
AYM’S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM is a great opportunity for your Church to provide financial assistance and encouragement to those students who want to attend summer programs that your Church is participating in.
The AYM Scholarship Program provides up to $100.00 for each student and a maximum of 5 students per Church.
