Milestones in March
Hello everyone,

Did you know this month marks our 3rd year anniversary of sending this monthly newsletter to all those interested in aging gracefully?? Our first newsletter went out in March of 2018 with the invitation to “come on out and enjoy your healthy community because after all, aging in Fairfax, everybody’s doing it!” March also marks one year since COVID-19 descended upon us and our very long shelter-in-place began. But that has ended and Spring is around the corner, the bees are getting very busy and many of us have gotten or are getting vaccinated (though still keeping our distance and masks in place of course). Task force members have been busy as well, working closely with Manor School last month to deliver Valentine’s Day cards to many of our oldest adults. And finally, we’re just about finished with our beautiful Age Friendly Fairfax 2020 Report which details all our accomplishments of the last five years—stay tuned for a link coming to you soon. In the meantime, have a marvelous March!
