Advocacy 101 Training

The NH Food Bank and NH Hunger Solutions will be co-hosting a virtual

Advocacy 101 Training on:

Friday, July 24th at 11am.

Join the New Hampshire Food Bank and New Hampshire Hunger Solutions for a Legislative Advocacy 101 workshop. In this session, you’ll learn about the advocacy landscape in New Hampshire, how to engage with the legislative process, and the role we all have in anti-hunger advocacy.

Vivery Claims & Webinar Recording

Every agency will receive one of these links and a Vivery profile, whether or not you will be visable on the map as a public serving entity. This is for all agencies that work with the NH Food Bank and that is why everyone is getting these emails. Data will be used to better track service areas and network gaps across New Hampshire. Thank you all for your focus on this!

Action Required:

1. Click the Claim Link in the email from Vivery to claim your profile.

2. Update your agency's information, including hours, contact details, and programs.

3. If you were unable to join our Vivery Quick Start Webinar to get trained on how to complete your profile and learn about other tools available through Vivery on June 30th, you should be receiving a recorded version to review.

4. Claim your profile by Friday, August 7th to ensure your agency's details are accurate on the Find Food Map.

Dissemination Sessions: Strategic Plan

The New Hampshire Food Bank hosted Listening Sessions in all 10 counties of New Hampshire in the summer of 2025. During these sessions we listened to feedback from our agencies, donors, volunteers and community partners that helped us craft our new Strategic Plan including a Product Sourcing Plan, Operational Response Plan and a Service Area Assessment.

For all those that would like to come together and see the results of the Listening Sessions, we will be hosting 3 Dissemination Sessions located in Berlin, Concord and Nashua. Formal invitation to follow!

Rapid Response Team

The NH Food Bank will be implementing a Rapid Response Team in the coming weeks. This team will be notified if and when there's an excess of donations--especially short-coded products and product that cannot be put on Agency Express. Those who fill out the form below will be added to the email listing and will help us reduce food waste! Sign up below if you're interested.

Closed-Toe Shoes!

Reminder!

You WILL NOT be able to pickup an order or shop the indoor shopping floor if you are not wearing closed-toe shoes. Please note, open back clogs or plastic sandals with holes are also not allowed.

For safety reasons, one of our food bank staff members or authorized Agency Support Volunteers will ask you to leave if you have improper footwear in our warehouse or our loading bays.

UNH Research Study

The University of New Hampshire's Bigornia Lab is now recruiting individuals to participate in a research study about what influences seafood and dairy eating habits among adults living in New Hampshire.

Participants will complete a virtual, interviewer-administered survey in which they will answer questions about their seafood and dairy eating habits. Individuals who take part in the study will be compensated for their time via gift card!

Thanksgiving

As mentioned in the Partner Agency Network Call on 4/10, the NH Food Bank will not be purchasing turkeys this year. In years prior, we were purchasing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Thanksgiving turkeys and we've steadily been taking a step back from spending so much for one day and reallocating those funds to provide more to our agencies year round.

We will still be working with Hannaford for the annual Tons of Turkeys Food Drive and will make those available once received.
We will still be receiving donations and any bulk donations will be available online.
We will still have themed sides available in the purchase category.
We may have gift cards available.

Agency Drops

The feedback received from these drops has been great and we look forward to continuing throughout the year to better serve our rural agencies that only receive one delivery a month.

Orders for the Madison Drop on 7/15 need to be in by noon on 7/8. Orders for the Keene Drop on 7/22 need to be in by noon on 7/15.
