Listening Sessions!

You’re Invited!

The New Hampshire Food Bank (NHFB) is embarking on an important journey to develop our next strategic plan, and your partnership is more critical than ever. As we look to the future, we want to ensure our strategies are deeply informed by the experiences and insights of those working directly in the communities we serve – that means you. As a vital part of the assessment phase of our planning, we will be hosting a series of Partner Listening Sessions in the coming weeks/months. These sessions are designed to be a dedicated space for us to hear directly from you.

Your input is crucial. Your perspectives will help us reshape our collective approach to ending hunger in New Hampshire and strengthen the ways we work together. These sessions are also a vital opportunity for us at the NH Food Bank to listen and learn how we can better support your essential work and enhance our services to you and your communities.

Thank you for your partnership. We are excited about the opportunity to connect and look forward to seeing you all at the session!

Hillsborough County - September 10th (Final Session)

Please share the link below to take the Listening Session Survey! Whether you were able to come to the sessions or not, we want to hear your thoughts and opinions on the various topics we covered. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey and share it with all who would like to take it.

Donor Spotlight: Shania Twain Foundation

We’re incredibly grateful to Shania Twain and the Shania Twain Foundation for their generous donation to the New Hampshire Food Bank!

Our North Country Food Systems Manager, Christy, was on hand at the concert at BankNH Pavilion in July where Shania presented us with this gift!

We’re thankful to Shania for her passionate commitment to improving food access for all!

A Message from your Agency Relations Team

It’s officially September, which means it’s Hunger Action Month®!

During Hunger Action Month, Feeding America Partner Food Banks (like NH Food Bank) across the U.S., come together to raise awareness and take action in their communities to fight hunger. Orange is the color of hunger and Hunger Action Month so join us in “Going Orange” all month long!

We welcome you to join us in raising awareness and taking action right here in the Granite State! As the only food bank in New Hampshire, the NH Food Bank and its programs work to fight the root causes of hunger in all corners of NH. We can end hunger, when we all work together.

Check out all sorts of ways to get involved with us this month by visiting our website: https://www.nhfoodbank.org/ham/

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is coming up quick! The NH Food Bank has purchased some turkeys and we will have a limited supply of both purchased turkeys and donated gift cards to distribute to partner agencies. We highly encourage all of our partner agencies to start planning ahead for their Thanksgiving needs. Side items are already on Agency Express for purchase and the Thanksgiving Request Form will go out mid-September. Keep in mind that although we may not be able to accommodate to your full request, we do get an abundance of turkeys donated closer to the holiday that we can distribute out to anyone that needs them.
