Agency Scoop

January, February, March 2024

Greetings and Happy 2024!

We look forward to partnering with you in the coming year!

All of our 2024 agency partner agreements will be sent and received electronically utilizing Dropbox Sign. Please fill out the 2024 Agency Partner Agreement as well as the Retail Rescue/Agency Enabled Retail Rescue Agreement (if you participate in this program) in its entirety once you receive it through Dropbox Sign via your email address. Dropbox Sign will allow you to fill everything in and submit it online. Once it is submitted, you’ll have the opportunity to print and keep a copy for your records.

  • All our agreements are signed by Kate Molbert, our Chief Operating Officer.

  • You will receive the Dropbox Sign document request from [email protected] so please add that email address to your “Safe Sender” List. It isn’t spam!

  • All agreements are due back by January 31st and following the receipt of the agreement, a $50 annual membership fee will be added to your invoice.

  • Please add all statistics in by January 11th for 2023. We are completing our End of Year report! Please connect with your RSM if you need assistance completing this.

Announcements

The Agency Scoop partner newsletter will be sent out quarterly in 2024. Any pertinent updates will be sent out promptly by email to the partner network to keep you informed.

  • Product Limits: Certain items on the order sheet will have limits on the quantities that one agency can order. This allows the GPFB to ensure equity of product across the entire service area. This is outlined in the 2024 Agency Partner Handbook section 6.3.
  1. GPFB will be enforcing product limits on the following items:
  2. Meats such as beef sticks (limit 1), whole chickens (limit 10), USDA or LFPA ground beef (limit varies), beef roasts (limit 1)
  3. Peanut butter (limit 15), all cultural foods (limit varies)

To avoid frustration, please abide by the product limits listed on the order sheet. If not, GPFB will adjust your order to follow product limits per agency per order window. If you have questions, please reach out to your RSM.

  • Product highlights of new items will be featured in weekly emails. Look for emails from Nicole for area 3 & 4 ordering reminders and emails from Kayla for area 1 and 2 ordering reminders.

  • Partner Regional Meetings: The Programs and Partner Network team is planning 4 regional meetings for the spring of 2024. These meetings will be a chance for agency partners to gather in-person, network with others, learn new updates from GPFB and offer feedback. Save the dates are coming soon!

  • 2023 Agency of the Year: It's that time of year again when we reflect on the working of ending hunger in 2023. We want to recognize 3 outstanding agency partner food pantries or meal sites that exemplified the values of service, passion, and innovation in their communities. Nominations can be submitted from volunteers, board members, community members, neighbors. GPFB will start accepting nominations from partners in March!
