Dear Hotel Community,
We are pleased to announce that Beattie Tartan is the official Agency of Record for the BC Hotel Association. Bringing decades of experience specializing in tourism and hospitality, Beattie Tartan is one of Canada’s leading public relations agencies.
In the wake of COVID-19, our industry has been hard hit and requires a strategic and holistic communications approach to amplify the BCHA’s efforts in order to be well positioned for recovery.
Working as a direct extension of the team, Beattie Tartan will utilize its strong industry relationships, extensive database of A-list business, trade and select travel media to build upon the BCHA’s position as the voice – and leader – of the province’s hotel industry. Key initiatives will include increasing awareness of BCHA’s government relations and advocacy wins; assisting with support for COVID-19 recovery and crisis management; positioning the organization’s leadership team and member base as key industry go-to for print, online and broadcast interview opportunities; pitching timely member news to travel media; and more.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Share Your Digital Assets: We’re looking for high resolution, professional imagery to share with media, and to feature on our social channels, website and marketing communications.
- In the News – Be the Voice of Your Region/Community: We’re seeking BCHA member spokespeople to participate in media print, online and broadcast interviews, and represent their property and community in the latest regional news and industry trends. We’re looking for people who are willing to speak to the impacts of COVID-19 on their region ie. What is your property doing to cope and recover?
- Property and Member Updates: From re-opening dates and culinary offerings, to new packages and COVID-recovery tactics, share what’s new and changing with us.
All spokesperson considerations and new product updates can be directed to Communications Manager, Kelsey Millman –
Please join us in welcoming the Beattie Tartan team.
We are here to serve you as the voice of our industry.
