Hamden Town Hall Update

We have received word from the Hamden Town Clerk concerning some new procedures related to indexing and copies, along with a review of the Town Hall’s recording procedures.

In one of the documents that we have received, the Town Clerk provides information concerning names that you need to be indexed on the land records. The Town Clerk will print out an index of the names that you provide, and forward information to you via fax or email, free of charge. The Town Hall staff will also forward copies that you require, at a charge of $1.00 per page.

Recordings are still being processed, upon receipt, and they may be sent by regular mail, overnight delivery, FedEx, or UPS.

Field cards, GIS maps, and tax bills continue to be available online, searchable by property address or the current owner’s name, on the town’s website, .
