LAND COURT INTERIM PROCEDURE FOR REMOTE PROCESSING OF SUBSEQUENT CASES AND CONDOMINIUM DOCUMENTS
 
The Land Court has announced that its Title Examiners will process Subsequent cases as well as condominium master deeds and amendments to condominium master deeds that constitute an emergency via electronic mail on an interim procedure until further notice. Please review the Memo carefully as it outlines procedures for various situations. This process is subject to change, revision or suspension by the Court. 
  
GAP COVERAGE
 
In an ongoing effort to assist our Agents in effectively responding to the disruption resulting from the pandemic (COVID-19) and in mitigating and containing its effects, CATIC takes this opportunity to reaffirm that it is providing gap coverage in its title policies, with no limitation on the size of the policy , for both commercial and residential transactions , due to the closure of a Registry of Deeds that prevents documents from being recorded immediately after the closing. If you require gap coverage for a registered land transaction, please contact one of our Underwriters for authorization to provide gap coverage to insure the same.
