Agent National Producer Number (NPN) Required
for all New Business Policies
For all new business transactions with a policy effective date on or after October 1, 2019, FEMA is now requiring NFIP insurers to collect and report the Agency and Agent National Producer Numbers (NPNs).

To comply with this requirement and validate our records, Wright Flood is collecting NPN data for all agency NPNs as well as each quoting agent NPNs that we do not currently have on file.

To acquire your NPN, go to the National Insurance Producer Registry website.
If your AGENCY NPN is missing, you will be alerted by the message shown below when logged into the Wright Flood Agent Portal:


The producer/agency administrator will go to the Agent Tab > Agent Maintenance on the menu bar of the agent portal...



...then scroll to the National Producer Maintenance section as shown below to add the Agency NPN as well as Individual agent NPN information if not already listed on the account:
Additionally, an enhancement has been added to the website during the quoting process at the payment options screen to note the agent's NPN number. If we already have the quoting agent's NPN information, the agent will select his/her own name from the drop-down indicated below. If not listed, the agent will be prompted to enter NPN information.
Clicking the link to enter your information will open to the Licensed Agent Window as shown below. If the agent does not know his/her NPN number, click the NPN field title to open the help text window with the link to access the NPN website to search for the producer number by license information or social security number.
