Gaga for Gaga Ball (And Grateful for Eagle Scouts!)
S/O to senior Jonathan Sherf who raised the funds and coordinated the labor to provide this Gaga Ball Pit in the parking lot for our upper elementary students to use during recess!🙌 He did this as partial fulfillment of the requirements of achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Kudos to Jonathan for this remarkable example of service and leadership in our Pre-12 school.🦅🇺🇲🎖The pit will be disassembled for the winter due to plowing in the parking lot, but be sure to check it out when it returns in the spring! #GoAggies

Aggie Alum Competes for Miss America 2.0 This Week
S/O to Kathryn Kueppers ‘14: Crowned Miss Minnesota in June, Kathryn will competing in the Miss America 2.0 competition this week. We’ll be cheering and praying for this Aggie alumna to shine with her God-given gifts! Broadcasting on NBC at 7:00 PM this Thursday, December 19.

K-3 Advent Concert - Mon., 12/16
Join us tonight at 6:30 PM in the Helene Houle Auditorium for our final Advent Concert of the season! We are still in need of 3 refreshment volunteers to assist with cookies before and after the concert. Your assistance is appreciated! Please sign-up online if you are able to help.
Car Raffle Turn-In Day #3 - Weds., 12/18
The second week of raffle sales brought in over $40,000 for Saint Agnes School! Lower School passed $15,000 and earned their Spirit Wear Day (Date TBD) and are close to reaching the next goal for Mr. Adkins to dress-up! 

The next turn in day is this Wednesday, December 18. Every student who has turned in $100 will get a chance to win a gift card with candy (K-12). Every additional $100 is an extra chance to win! Raffle tickets and money will be collected from K-6 homerooms and 7-12 first hour classes. Remember, all money raised stays right at Saint Agnes!

7-12 Final Exams - Beginning Weds., 12/18
Upper School final exams will be held Wednesday, December 18 through Friday, December 20. View the Schedule for 7-12 Final Exams . Students in grades 7-12 are dismissed after the exam periods are completed each day: Wednesday (10:50 AM), Thursday (12:20 PM), and Friday (11:00 AM). Teachers will be available for review sessions and tutoring, and students may stay on campus to study in various locations. As in the past, with a prior parent note or call, seniors with study halls need not report to campus during study hall exam times. Please note that K-6 dismissal remains at 2:45 PM both Wednesday and Thursday. All students are dismissed at 11:00 AM on Friday and there is no After School Care.
Art of Manliness - Weds., 12/18
It's Advent and we're getting ready for the Nativity of Our Lord - Dads (or uncles, grandpas, godfathers) and their sons (boys in Grades 3, 4, 5, & 6) are invited to join us as we make a Christmas/Advent tree for hanging all of your cards on. Mr. Gockowski and Mr. Adkins will host this event in Schuler Hall (lower level at Church of Saint Agnes) on Wednesday, December 18 from 3:15-4:15 PM. Please RSVP online ; cost is $5 per 1 set of materials (e.g. $5 for one boy and $10 for Father/Son combo if dad wants to make one too). Please contact Mr. Adkins with questions at 651-925-8756.
Lower School Christmas Dress-Up - Fri., 12/20
A friendly reminder that Lower School students can accessorize their uniforms on the last day of Semester 1 (Friday, December 20)! They can wear an ugly Christmas sweater and other fun Christmas gear. The key is it must be over the uniform - light up necklaces, Santa hats, etc. – All that is fun and just fine! Questions? Students should ask teachers ahead of time.

Musical Fair - Sun., 1/19
Save the date for this year's Musical Fair! The Musical Fair will be Sunday, January 19 at 1:30 PM in the Helene Houle Auditorium. There will be a couple of new twists to the fair as well as the announcement of the spectacular new musical. Don’t miss it! Father/Daughter Dance - Sat., 2/29
Save the date for this year's Father/Daughter Dance! Young ladies in Grades 9 through 12 are invited to attend with their dad, grandfather, godfather or other male role model. Watch the newsletter for more information on how to attend or volunteer for this annual event. 
Christmas Movie Matinee - Mon., 12/30
Young families, come and join us for a fun morning during Christmas break at Saint Agnes! Open gym will be hosted from 9:00-9:45 AM to burn off some Christmas break energy! We will enjoy a snack before watching The Star * in our Helene Houle Auditorium.

Informal tours of our school will be available from 8:00-8:45 AM and 11:30-12:00 PM. Please  contact Admissions Director Mr. Joseph Olson  with questions at 651-925-8803.

Freshman Placement Test - Sat., 1/11
Save the date! On Saturday, January 11, from 8:00-10:30 AM, our 8th grade students and 8th grade students from other schools will be taking their freshman placement exam. Parents are welcome to stay and hear an address from Dr. Kevin Ferdinandt on the state of the school and from Mr. Joseph Olson on the admissions/enrollment process and financial aid/tuition management. Future Aggies interested in grades 7-12 are invited to come experience junior high and high school at Saint Agnes! Tour our campus with student ambassadors. Dual-Enrollment Registration Open for Spring Semester or Full-Year Classes!
Our second and final round of Dual-Enrollment registration is now open!  The 16 additional courses now available are full-year classes or classes that are offered only Semester 2. (Our previous registration in October was for Semester 1 courses only).  Payment & UMary registration form are due on Monday, January 6, 2020. Please contact Mr. Michael Adkins with questions.
Register for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: Catechists & Assistants Training (Level I)
As our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program continues expanding, Saint Agnes is looking for committed people to serve as trained assistants and catechists in the atrium for the 2020-21 school year. We are excited to be offering a Level I training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at Saint Agnes starting in January 2020. Upon the participant's completion of the course and its requirements, he or she will receive Level I Catechist Certification. This formation course is sponsored by the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGSUSA).

Flowers for Sisters' Chapel: Please consider purchasing flowers for the Sisters’ chapel as a small token of our appreciation for them. If you are able to help, please sign up for a Friday afternoon to bring four bouquets and two green bunches to a bucket outside their chapel on the second floor of the school.
Admission Application Process Open for New 2020-21 Students: The admissions application process is now open in TADS for the 2020-2021 academic year.
