Aggies Rated #6 in AP Preseason Poll

The countdown to kick-off is on!

The Texas A&M Football team is ranked No. 6 in this year's preseason AP poll and will be welcomed back to Kyle Field by 102,000 fans as the Aggies take on Sam Houston State in the season home opener presented by Doggett

The 12th Man has shown out in full force this season. A&M set a record high for student sports passes with over 37,000 purchased along with 55,000 season ticket holders.

The Aggies are rich in young talent on both sides of the ball with Walter Nolan, Shemar Stewart, and Evan Stewart looking to make their debut in the Maroon & White. Jimbo Fisher named Haynes King the starter to take the reigns at the Quarterback position leading a young, talented Aggie squad. Members of Texas A&M's 2022 highest-rated recruiting class of all time will join an arsenal of weapons in veterans such as Ainias Smith, Myles Jones, and Demani Richardson who are eager to lead the team to a historic season during Jimbo Fisher's fifth season at the helm of the program.
