TFI needs your help!  We're asking you to   write your senator   asking him or her to support S.951, the Regulatory Accountability Act of 2017. This bipartisan legislation would ensure a transparent, accountable, and common sense regulatory process that would yield more effective regulatory outcomes for American businesses.    The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs passed the bill on May 17, moving it to the full Senate for a future vote.

Resolution of Sugar Dispute with Mexico Sets Positive Tone for NAFTA Talks
Source:  National Grain and Feed Association
Note:  Upon a member's request, ACI Chair Dave Reichhart sent a letter to Congressmen Luke Messer and Todd Rokita to make them aware of the issue and potential retaliation by Mexico on U.S. imports of high fructose corn syrup.

Last Tuesday, The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) commended U.S. and Mexican negotiators for reaching an agreement in principle addressing U.S. imports of Mexican sugar, saying that once finalized it will help remove a significant trade irritant as all-important negotiations to modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement begin later this summer.
