Agricultural Worker Identification, Registration, and Reporting in the UDS Intensive Training

Nov 4, 2022

9:00AM - 12:00PM PST

The Association is partnering with the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH), a HRSA National Training and Technical Assistance Partner, to offer a 3 hour virtual Agricultural Worker Identification, Registration, and Reporting in the UDS Intensive Training. As you know, HRSA continues to prioritize closing health disparities among special populations, including Migratory and Seasonal Agricultural Workers (MSAW). These disparities are often not addressed because many MSAW patients are not identified and reported correctly in the UDS. This training will ensure you and your team are able to properly identify, classify and document your MSAW patients in the UDS system; are aware of changes and important clarifications that have been made regarding the definition of agriculture and qualifying tasks/industries; and are familiar with available tools and resources to help health centers set goals to increase access to care for your Ag worker patient population. The session will also include review of 2021 UDS data trends for Washington state, and an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, challenges, and promising practices over the past year related to increasing access to care for MSAWs.

Learning Objectives

Attendees Will:

  • Increase their knowledge of current UDS data trends for WA state and share their experiences, challenges, and promising practices over the past year
