Career Connect Washington Sector Leader in Agriculture

The Agriculture & Natural Resource Center of Excellence is serving as Career Connect Washington Sector Leader for Agriculture. Part of our role as a Sector Leader is to convene our partners in industry and education to develop an industry aligned sectoral strategy. We've conducted one employer convening for forestry and are working on our second convening scheduled for April 4 and our first agriculture employer convening is scheduled for April 24th.

The insights gathered during these employer convenings will create the foundation for our agriculture sectoral strategy for addressing gaps in our workforce pipeline through career connect infrastructure. Our goal is to foster improved collaboration and coherency amongst employers within the agriculture sector to scale work-based learning programs and create equitable opportunities for students.

If you would like to be included in our upcoming employer convenings for forestry or pre-harvest, please connect with us! Your feedback is critical for addressing shared workforce needs in the agriculture sector.
