Agriculture commissioner celebrating farmers
during Kentucky Farmers’ Markets Week
"Consumers want the freshest and healthiest foods available, and that's exactly what you can find at any of the farmers' markets throughout Kentucky," Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Ryan Quarles said. "If you haven't made it out to a Kentucky Proud farmers' market near you, this week is a reminder to stop by and see what your agriculture neighbors have to share. You won’t be disappointed."

"We really concentrated on including the community with our market," Meade Co. Farmers' Market Manager Mary Gavin said.

"These funds will allow families and communities to start to rebuild after these historic floods," Quarles said.
