Dear friends, I hope that you can join us for our annual weapons seminar at our mountain retreat in Roxbury, Vermont. Aikido Bokken will be taught by Didier Boyet Sensei, 7th dan Birankai Shihan, from Paris, France. Aiki jo will be taught by Benjamin Pincus Sensei, 6th Dan USAF shidoin, Chief Instructor of Cloud Mountain Aikido and Aikido of Champlain Valley. Boyet Sensei will also teach a body arts aikido class Saturday afternoon, followed by a party. On Sunday, Boyet Sensei will teach Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido. Please pre-register for this event. Camping is available- people are also welcome to stay in the dojo, which has a full kitchen. We have a pond to swim in, and please bring extra food for yourself and to share due to our isolated location in the heart of Vermont.

Brief Biography of Boyet Sensei:
Boyet Sensei studied aikido and iaido with Tamura Sensei in Paris beginning in 1972, and also trained with Chiba Sensei in England. In order to deepen his understanding of budo, he moved to Japan in 1977, where he studied aikido intensively at Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, training with the late Doshu, Chiba Sensei, Yamaguchi sensei and many other important teachers. He also was a senior student of
Mitsuzuka Sensei, intensively studying iaido during his time in Japan.
After spending almost 40 years in Japan, he currently lives in Paris, France.
