Capacity Update
Alaska decreased its October through December schedules by 1% week over week. They decreased seats in a variety of markets, with significant decreases in OGG.
China Airlines added SEA to TPE service, which will fly 5 times weekly beginning in August.
Delta reinstated year-round DTW service to FWA, which will begin in June. It was last served in September of 2022. They also removed two seasonal LAX markets from their 2025 schedules: LAX to BZN and EGE.
Porter loaded their previously announced service from YUL to LAX and SFO beginning in July.
Sun Country increased their June and July schedules by 7% and 5% week over week, respectively.
United decreased their June, July and August schedules by 1%, 3% and 2% week over week, respectively. They loaded their previously announced service from EWR to Menara, Marrakech (RAK), which will begin in November. They also removed EWR to TVC flights from November 2024 through February 2025. Historically, this market has only had summer seasonal service, so that trend continues.
