Air Park Summer Day Camp (K-5th)
At last check, 2017 Summer Day Camp at the rec. center was filling up at a steady pace, but it's not too late for families to enroll their youth that have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade! Our summer program is designed specifically for families wanting their youth to have a fun, interactive and healthy experience this summer. The keys to our success are caring day camp leaders who understand youth from the elementary school levels, a safe and age-appropriate environment, and a variety of recreation activities that speak to the diverse interests of participants. Each week at camp we incorporate a series of fun individual and group challenges with a focus on healthy living and positive youth development. Activities include but are not limited to: individual and team games, swimming, field trips, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, gardening, reading, yoga, archery, tennis, and more!
We register on a weekly basis so families can pick and choose their weeks of participation. Register online at parks.lincoln.ne.gov or click here to complete and print a paper form. Please call the rec. center office at 402-441-7876 if you'd like to find out more.
