AireSpring Receives MSP Product of the Year Award

AireSpring is thrilled to announce it has been awarded the 2025 MSP Today Product of the Year Award by TMC for its AIreCONTROL IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. AIreCONTROL leverages AI, machine learning, and real-time data correlation to give IT teams full visibility across networks, enabling proactive issue detection, faster incident resolution, and minimized downtime.

The platform integrates AIreMONITOR, AireSpring’s automated monitoring service that now supports third-party circuits and devices. Backed by AireSpring’s 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC), AIreMONITOR auto-generates support tickets and manages incidents end-to-end, helping managed service providers deliver consistent reliability and value to their enterprise customers.

“We’re honored to receive this prestigious award, which underscores our dedication to the channel and the development of intelligent, AI-driven solutions that reduce the complexity of today’s IT environments,” said Avi Lonstein, CEO of AireSpring. “As a global managed services provider, we created AIreCONTROL to provide real-time visibility, accelerate issue resolution, and enhance the customer experience from end to end.”

AIreCONTROL Recognized for AI Innovation

AireSpring is excited to announce it has been named a 2025 AI Agent Product of the Year Award winner by TMC for its AIreCONTROL ITSM platform, which leverages Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) to provide comprehensive visibility and control across enterprise IT environments.

AIreCONTROL offers 360-degree oversight of circuits, devices, and services, allowing IT teams to detect issues, automate resolutions, and minimize downtime. The platform is integrated with AireSpring’s AIrePOD support model, giving customers direct access to Tier 3 engineers who respond within 10 minutes of case submission.

AIreCONTROL differentiates itself through its use of proactive and autonomous AIOps engine that ingests and correlates diverse data sources, including SNMP, weather systems, and carrier outages, to identify patterns and prioritize incidents. The platform extends its reach through AIreMONITOR, which oversees equipment and circuits from third-party providers. Supported by AireSpring’s 24/7 Network Operations Center, AIreCONTROL helps enterprises reduce vendor sprawl and simplifies IT management by offering a unified, managed solution for maintaining continuous service and support.

“We’re honored to receive this award, which recognizes our innovative approach and commitment to building smarter, AI-powered tools that simplify the complexity of modern IT environments,” said Avi Lonstein, CEO of AireSpring. “AIreCONTROL was designed to deliver real-time insights, faster problem resolution, and an outstanding customer experience across the entire IT lifecycle.”

AireSpring Introduces AIreCONTROL 2.0

AireSpring is thrilled to announce the launch of AIreCONTROL 2.0, the latest version of its AI-powered IT Service Management (ITSM) platform designed to streamline and enhance IT operations across hybrid, multi-location, and multi-vendor environments.

Building on the success of the original AIreCONTROL, which offered a unified “single pane of glass” for managing global networks, Version 2.0 introduces a modernized interface, intuitive navigation, improved dashboards, expanded AIOps capabilities, and smarter health monitoring.

These upgrades give enterprise IT teams and channel partners deeper visibility, faster response times, and greater control over complex network ecosystems.

Purpose-built for hybrid, multi-carrier infrastructures, AIreCONTROL 2.0 integrates seamlessly with AireSpring’s broader managed service suite, including real-time monitoring via AIreMONITOR, intelligent alerting through AIreALERT, automated ticketing and remediation with AIreAUTOMATE, and Tier 3 engineering support from AIrePOD. The platform remains natively developed and fully integrated, leveraging AireSpring’s longstanding expertise in managed connectivity and security. Together, these tools deliver an enterprise-grade solution that simplifies operations, accelerates issue resolution, and reduces the operational burden on internal IT teams.

“AIreCONTROL 2.0 reflects our ongoing investment in giving enterprise customers the tools they need to manage complex, distributed networks with greater speed and confidence,” said Avi Lonstein, CEO of AireSpring. “We’ve listened closely to customer feedback, and this next release makes it even easier for organizations to manage their networks with speed, clarity, and confidence.”

To begin, please tell us a little about yourself, your career in

telecom/technology, and your agency.

I got my start as a telecom manager, which involved a variety of tasks including making recommendations for purchasing services and equipment to the CFO and being responsible for the budget. After leaving that position, I served as an IT manager where I developed my knowledge of voice and data services—I also managed a mainframe computer system as well as desktop computers. This gave me an understanding of the local area networks and applications that I work with now as a consultant.

Karen Piper

CEO, Concierge Telecom Services

Hampstead, NH

After serving in telecom, I was recruited to sell services on the direct side at Qwest Communications (now Lumen). I learned sales quickly and became a member of their Elite Network (President’s Circle), receiving two national awards for my sales as well as an award for selling the most products in New England. I sold everything that Qwest had and quickly began training and mentoring new salespeople.

When my husband and I wanted to start a family, I took a position with a Qwest partner that I had worked with in the past. This allowed me to work from home and spend more time with my son. For 14 years, I learned how to run an agency and helped them elevate their customer service. It was a lot of hard work, but very rewarding and helped me build business relationships and a customer network that works to this day.

I started Concierge Telecom Services, LLC in 2017 and built my business from my existing network of customers. But when COVID-19 hit, it hit hard and almost ended the company. During lockdown, we took a hard look at our goals and took steps to begin to rebuild. Over the past four years, we have built key relationships with partners like AireSpring and major technology solutions distributors (TSDs). We worked hard and we are now exceeding our pre-lockdown revenue forecast.

What do you like about working with AireSpring?

If I had to pick one word to describe my experience with AireSpring, I would say “partner- friendly.” Isn’t that what we are all looking for in our vendors? We have enough to overcome in the sales process with the customers. We don’t need to fight the vendors too.

"I was impressed with the AireSpring executive and solutions engineering teams, who joined our meetings with the customer and gave them confidence in AireSpring as a provider with an established track record of delivering on requests."

From the moment that I engaged with AireSpring, Regional Channel Manager Jeff Armstrong was in contact with me, helping me with every customer request and obstacle.

Contract negotiations were expertly managed by Jeff and the executive team. Having worked on many agreements in the past 28 years, I was amazed at how easy they made the process for me and the customer.

On a recent complex customer project, I was impressed with the AireSpring executive and solutions engineering teams, who joined our meetings with the customer and gave them confidence in AireSpring as a provider with an established track record of delivering on requests. And just as importantly, they developed a level of trust that the executive team would support them through the entire process. The escalation list up to the CEO that AireSpring provides is a resource we can count on. AireSpring makes the sales and implementation processes so much easier. This has been one of the best projects of my career so far.

What would you say is the secret to being a successful technology advisor in today’s marketplace?

In the past 28 years that I have been in sales, my managers have always said, “Work smarter, not harder.” For me this means partnering with the vendors that you can have the most success with.

"Treating customers like true partners is also key. It helps you maintain a long-term relationship and work toward mutual growth."

Treating customers like true partners is also key. It helps you maintain a long-term relationship and work toward mutual growth.

What do you foresee happening in the channel in 2025 (or what is the “next big thing” or “things” you think people should be aware of or get involved in, etc.)?

AI has started to permeate every product and platform. I first started seeing it in contact center products. They were offering AI in front of the agents to answer questions, with the goal of reducing calls and the number of agents needed.

Beyond the customer service aspects, engineers use AI in almost every application. The final goal is to integrate AI across all platforms. This is a long way off, but it is still widely used.

While we are all excited about AI, we should not lose sight of the migration of customers to the cloud—this is still an important service we provide.

With enterprises running in the cloud, cybersecurity is also as important as ever. Many customers do not have enough cybersecurity and need to be educated on the latest solutions to keep their networks, intellectual property and people protected. At the very least, everybody could use an audit to make sure that they are not in jeopardy of an attack.

What are some of your interests outside of telecom?

My husband and I volunteer in several nursing homes in southern New Hampshire. We enjoy cheering up the residents and lifting their spirits.

"The accomplishment that I’m most proud of is picking the Eagles to win the Super Bowl before the playoffs. I picked Ohio State to win the National Championship. And my next prediction has me picking AireSpring to win a lot of new business deals in the next year."

I am a football junky. I get NFL and college football packages. During football season we watch many of the games to the point of obsession. Through watching and rating the players and teams, I have become pretty good at picking the winners.

The accomplishment that I’m most proud of is picking the Eagles to win the Super Bowl before the playoffs. Everyone thought I was crazy. But I was right. And I picked Ohio State to win the National Championship. And my next prediction has me picking AireSpring to win a lot of new business deals in the next year.

Tell us briefly about your professional background and your career prior to joining AireSpring.

My professional career has been an interesting journey over the last 40 years. I installed my first network, when I was in college, in 1985. I have been a consultant, a partner in the channel, CIO for a public company, and managed the architecture group of a large medical group with 23+ hospitals, to name a few. For me, everything always circles back to supporting customers with technical solutions.

Craig Fields

VP Managed Services

Tell us a bit about your role at AireSpring and how you support our partners.

I manage the technical resources that are customer facing. This includes the Managed Service Engineers (MSEs) that turn-up services and the Service Assurance (SA) team, that provides ongoing Day 2 support. My focus is to make these teams function as a single stop to support our clients and partners. As a collective group we are constantly adding new products and working through any issues that arise to provide our clients an excellent experience.

What do you like about working at AireSpring?

There is never a dull day at AireSpring. My global teams could be working on a circuit in China or a gateway in South Africa. Each location brings a set of new challenges that I enjoy. AireSpring has a great team that works well together. Our multidisciplinary approach to supporting clients really showcases teamwork and efficiency by addressing any challenge from every angle.

Tell us about your hobbies/activities outside of work.

We are a huge sports family that loves to travel. Both of our daughters have played soccer at a national level. This means we got to see a lot of soccer fields in a lot of states. We have family all over the world and are always visiting someone, somewhere. I also spend some of my spare time playing poker in large events like the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Helps to fill the time now that we are almost empty nesters.
