MKE Runway 1L/19R Re-Opens

September 8, 2022

MKE has completed the final phase of a project to remove a taxiway and construct a new taxiway parallel to Runway 7R/25L. This provides a more safe and efficient taxiway system for aircraft to traverse the airport.

Runway 1L/19R re-opens on September 8th and residents living below flight paths can expect a return to normal activity levels.

Anyone with questions regarding airfield or aircraft noise and/or runway closures may contact the Noise Office at 414-747-4677.
