Jim Kelty was recognized with ‘Honorary Membership’ in The International Exhibition Logistics Association at this year’s IELA Congress, that took place from June 27-29 in Bruges, Belgium.
This award recognizes members who have rendered exceptional contribution and service to IELA during their life as a member. According to Elizabeth Niehaus, Executive officer of the IELA Secretariat in Switzerland, “Jim devoted years of passion and impressive commitment to our association with a strong legacy, particulary with The IELA Education & Training Programme, from 2011 to 2022, where Jim spearheaded the development of the IELA Training Manual & the IELA Academy.
"Jim also served on multiple IELA committees during his long association with IELA, and help lead the organization as a Board of Management member from 2013 to 2019.
"IELA is immensibly grateful and honored for Jim’s outstanding contribution and love for this association.“
Jim also played a guiding hand in getting Airways introduced to IELA, and has helped get Airways established as one of the key industry members in the US Market through IELA. We are all extremely proud of Jim and appreciate his years of selfless service to IELA and to Airways Freight Corporate for leading us in the great industry organization.
