"Our Trade show department is made up of a great group of employees that each bring their own individuality and personality to our department. We have operators that have been here for 30 years and operators that have been here for 3 years, however, that mixed group of experience and youth come together to make a great group. A group of people that know how to get the job done and create an enjoyable work atmosphere while doing it.
"From current events, sports, music, or fishing, you can walk through our department and hear people talking about their upcoming trip or the weekend they just came off of but when it’s time to break a show it’s all hands-on deck, and this group does it better than anyone in the industry.
"Airways serves as the official carrier for over a hundred shows each year and for many of those shows, we have staff onsite during move out to over-see the loading of trucks and assist customers in setting up their outbound orders from the show.
"We have four official travel reps that we utilize to work these shows, three of which work in the office full time. These reps sacrifice time with their families, time at their homes, and most of their weekends to cover the shows that we are appointed to throughout the year.
"From August through November we have around 30 shows that we will have onsite representation from the home office. Additionally, we’ll have another 30 that general contractors, of which we have great partnerships with, have appointed Airways as the carrier. We’re ready to have a busy and exciting Fall season and leave these hot, quiet, dog days of summer behind us."
