Here's a few words from our Managers!

Erik Fortin, Vice President Domestic/Product

"As we reflect on 2024, I would like to look at some of the new services offered at Airways.

"If you are looking for help on growing your clientele, Ben Barker has been working in agent services for the past year and is a great point of contact.

"For almost a year, Danny Daniels has been heading up our LTL Services and has it growing by leaps and bounds. We have also assisted our customers in distribution work and have worked distributions from a few hundred shipments to over four thousand, while giving the customer a very high level of service and communication.

"I would like to finish by giving out a big shout out to all the operators in Product, Aero, Utilities. These teams can make anything happen. Plant down? They got you. Need a forklift? Tomorrow AM work? Medical instrument for an emergency surgery, and oh it has lithium-ion batteries?  When is it ready?  Have a project that is over dimension, and overweight?  Be right back with an option. Two-man inside job with an unpack and remove debris put in place in Odessa TX? We know a guy. These ladies and gents work hard every day to make you shine for your clients! It is great to be part of the Airways team and looking forward to 2025!"

Brock Wood, Vice President Domestic Trade Show Services

"As we wind down another fall trade show season and look back on 2024, the things that come to my mind are all the talks of freight recessions and the election year throwing our industry out of whack. While 2024 may end up a little slower than years past, Airways has been steadfast, all the while putting together another solid year working with our customers and carriers to maintain our business.

"The driving force behind Airways has always been our people, the operations staff as well as sales staff. Whether it’s our travelers that represent Airways on show site or, our main operations staff at the home office providing logistic services and assisting customers, to our sales agents hustling every day to make those contacts.

"I’m thankful and proud to be a part of a great group of people that work extremely hard for what Airways has become and will continue to be. I’m looking forward to growth in 2025 and working closer with our customer and agent base to see just what new heights we can hit. Thank you to all who make Airways great!"

Ashley Chandler, Director of Corporate Administration

"2024 has been a great year! Despite being understaffed throughout the year my team has stepped up to the challenge. Claims, Phones, Agent Commissions, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable I appreciate each of you. Thank you for all your hard work. 2025 here we come!"

Brad Watson, EVP International

"Thanks to our awesome sales group and equally awesome operational staff, 2024 proved to be a BIG year for BIG freight in International.

"2024 brought us a return of MinExpo, a quadrennial event that agent Jim Kelty has been bringing to Airways as the international official since 2000….That is six consecutive official appointments over the last 24 years!    With values exceeding a million dollars and piece sizes at over 100,000 lbs, these jobs involve a great deal of technical understanding, both from a freight handling and customs standpoint.

"We are very proud of our international group and how they partner with our great sales team to deliver such a professional service.

"Below are some highlight photos of our BIG freight year and we look forward to partnering with you on more big jobs in 2025!"
