"After over 42 years of service (hired in March 1983) Dan Helton is retiring, with his last day being June 30th. Danny was the first guy I met on my first day at Airways. Thirty-nine years later it’s difficult to imagine an Airways without him working in International. At the time, Danny was the only person at Airways that knew anything about International shipping, and he’ll probably tell you that it wasn’t much, however, over the last 40 yrs Danny’s knowledge and commitment have been an integral part of the building of our International division. All the well wishes and kind words are so well deserved. We greatly appreciate all that Danny has done for Airways, the lives he has affected not only here but all over the world, and the friendship that we have had all these years. We wish him well in his much deserved next chapter of his life.
"So you ask, what’s next for International? Well, we are excited to have Zack Osburn taking over the reins from Danny as officially our new “Director of International Commercial Air Services”. Zack has worked closely with Danny for many years and, along with a great group, will continue the high level of service all have come to expect.
"We also want to announce a title change for Patty Osburn to “Director – International Trade Show Air Service”. Patty has continued to excel and to grow our International Trade Show department and is currently traveling to Geneva, Switzerland to represent Airways at IELA 2025. Patty and our great trade show group meets expectations with a high level of customer service AND is always one of the top margin groups in the company. We appreciate all that Patty does for Airways and her professional level of representation both in the house and abroad.
"Please help us in congratulating Danny, Zack and Patty."
