Full Circle TMS 6th Annual User Conference
Airways Freight attended the 6th Annual user conference in Louisville KY this year. First, you might be wondering what Full Circle TMS is. Full Circle is a program Airways uses to up our efficiency in finding expedited trucks. Not only has this increased the speed at which we can find trucks, but it also helps us find quality carriers at the best rate. In short, we can find trucks faster, increase margins all while saving the customer money.
During this conference we are focused on building existing relationships with our current carrier base, building relationships with new carriers, and learn all the new aspects of this TMS that we might not be using that could help increase efficiency even more. Building long-lasting partnerships is a big goal for us at this conference.
The event ended with “A night at the races”. Full Circle rented out the top floor of Churchill Downs racetrack for a night of horse racing, food, and drink. Airways was proud the sponsor of Race#6 where Erik Fortin (Director of Domestic Product) along with a group of vendors were allowed to go to the paddock to watch the horses come in, be saddled, and jockeys mount to enter the arena. We then followed the horses into the arena to watch the race trackside, then we presented the race trophy to the owner of the winning horse. After presenting the trophy to the owner and getting our photo op with owner, owners’ family, and jockey the owner of the horse presented the trophy back to Airways as a memento of the experience.
As we reflect on this conference one of our biggest takes aways is building partnerships. Partnerships with our vendors to help make sure we utilize the right people for each job. Partnerships with our customers and how we can always provide the best service for the best price. Partnerships with our agents to make sure we always give them an option and never have to tell their customers “No”. Partnerships with our employees to make sure our customer service is always above the bar. This is what make Airways great!
