Welcome to October!

Welcome you all to the month of October. With the changing colors of the leaves and the crisp autumn air, this month marks the beginning of a new season filled with exciting opportunities and possibilities. As we move forward into the final quarter of the year, let us take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished so far and set our sights on achieving even greater things in the months to come.

Wishing you all a wonderful October ahead!

Brad Watson has been VP of International since 2004 and thanks to the dedication and experience of this group, has the easiest job at Airways.

International Product

Brandt Smith - 02/02/04 - International Air Operations

Brandt Smith began his career at Airways in the Domestic Air department in 2004 before moving to our International Air Division in 2009.  Brandt takes care of our international anatomical as well as Utility air freight customers.

Christian Johnson - 02/21/07 - International Air Operations

Christian Johnson started Airways in 2007, and in 2018 escaped the overnight shift to come and work in the International Air Division, focusing mainly on aerospace and defense accounts.

Dan Helton - 03/16/83 - International Air Operations Manager

Dan Helton comes from Airways’ Paleolithic era, and is only preceded in tenure by the owner, Dale Caudle. He started so long ago that no one knows where he came from… He’s just always been.  Dan celebrated his 40 year anniversary with Airways and in addition to his role as Manager of our Commercial Air Division, he is taking over some of our FAA compliance and training from Dave Hood, who retired this year.

Taylor Turberville - 02/16/15 - International Air Operations

Taylor Tuberville started his career at Airways in 2015 working in our domestic operations, before moving to international in 2019.  Taylor covers our swing shift so if you are calling for international after 1800 CST you will likely get him.

Zack Osburn - 02/08/16 - International Air Operations

Zack Osburn started on nights in 2016 and made the jump to international in 2017.  He is Dan’s protégé, which means he can run an international charter, a hot shot, and hand carry, all while eating a donut.

International Trade Show

Patty Osburn - 05/08/06

International Trade Show Manager

Patty Osburn started in our accounting department in 2006.  Her speed, attention to detail, and willingness to try something new, landed her in International Trade Shows in 2008 where she worked in operations for 6 years, before taking over that department as manager in 2014.

Hunter Waddle - 01/05/04

International Trade Show Operations

Hunter is one of the few people on our staff that was hired straight into international, way back in 2004.  Hunter has worked in international operations in the office and represented us on site, everywhere from Washington to Warsaw.

James Lindgren - 02/17/97

International Trade Show Operations

James Lindgren migrated to international from domestic operations back in 1999, and has worked in the International Trade Show division ever since.  His focus is the North American Market, so if you going to or coming from Canada, Mexico, or Puerto Rico, you have probably talked to James.

Julie Coursey - 08/30/05

International Trade Show operations.

Julie started in our domestic operations in 2005 where she worked for 12 years before moving out international trade shows in 2017.  Like James, she manages shipments for some of our favorite agents that have business in North American.

Jordan Eaton - 03/28/22

International Trade Show Operations

Jordan is one of our newer hires, and one of the few operators that was directly into international.   In her pre-Airways life, she worked for our bank and handled our business so well for us, that we offered her a job.

Emily Crawford - 08/01/22

International Trade Show Operations

Emily is our newest international operations member.  She moved to our department from the Airways night crew this year.  In addition to being a fast learner and operator for some of our top international agents, she also speaks fluent French.

Tony Dawes - 10/16/02

International Sales Support

Tony Dawes joined Airways back in 2002 and was the first staff member we ever hired that actually had experience in international forwarding, having come to us from Keuhne & Nagel.  Tony provides sales and marketing support to our trade show agents that have official appointments in the US and abroad.

International Ocean Dept

Jerome Casey - 04/01/02

VP Ocean Services

Jerome Casey started his career at Airways in Domestic Tradeshows.  With a background in stand building, he quickly became a valuable show site representative and was one of the first trade show travelers for Airways.  After 7 years of travel he wanted off the road, so he came to international, where we promptly sent him to Moscow for two weeks to manage the ConExpo Russia show for Airways.  In 2021 Jerome took over as VP of AFC Ocean Services and manages this department while at the same time managing our international project work.

Erin Stanley - 01/02/01

Ocean Operations

Erin  Stanley was hired directly into Airways International Division in 2001 and worked in Air Operations until Airways started its own Ocean Division.  Erin has been the backbone of this department since her arrival, working

with high volume agents and customers since the beginning.

Ocean Operations

Dakota started at Airways in 2013.  With a background in nights and domestic operations, He moved to international trade shows in 2015.  In 2020 and thanks to the pandemic, he started splitting time in the sea freight department. He is the only employee we have that can do it all.  If your customer is sending both air and ocean cargo to a show, he’s your guy.

David Sarratt - 06/12/06

David is veteran of Domestic Operations since 2006, and transitioned to International in 2022. He is the newest addition to the ocean department with a focus primarily on LCL ocean cargo.

International Accounting

Tammy Graham is another employee has devoted most of her work career to Airways.  She was our first international accounting manager way back when we were first trying to figure out foreign contra-settlements, currency conversions, and all the other nuances of international accounting.

Tammy even did a stint in international operations, before leaving us for awhile to help out with her parents.  One of our best days at Airways was the day she called us and told us she was moving back to Fayetteville and wanted to see if she could come back to work at Airways.

Stacey Roberts - 01/3/23

Stacey is our newest employee, having started in January of this year.
