Hello Joan,

Welcome to the first issue of Akron City Council's new Legislative Spotlight. This is the newest initiative designed to increase communication with the residents of our city.

Each week, we will be sharing highlights from the Council's legislative agenda from the prior Monday's Committee and Council meetings. In addition, our 'Did You Know' section will feature the definitions of and information about commonly used terms.

We hope that you will take the time to read through, are informed by, and enjoy reading each edition.

                                        Sincerely,

                                        Margo Sommerville
