Supreme Court takes a hard turn to the right

After a contentious debate that divided the country, the U.S. Senate barely approved Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, making the court a majority right justice. Kavanaugh was nominated by a divisive president and approved by a polarized Senate. His defense of the sexual assault allegations against him was partial and political, tainting the highest court in the land and the last frontier for justice. We hope that justice Kavanaugh would rise above the politics and find a fair and just voice, whether he votes conservative or right-wing conservative. Click here for more ....

Saudi Arabia is defending itself in the disappearing of a Saudi dissident journalist that vanished in Turkey after visiting the Saudi consulate. Turkish authorities over the weekend said police believed he was  killed  in the consulate, and The Washington Post has reported Turkey believes he was killed by a Saudi hit team sent to Istanbul. AHRC Receives UN status

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) received the United Nations- ECOSOC Consultative Status approved in its session held on July 24, 2018. The Consultative Status will enable AHRC to actively engage with the ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies.The designation was announced during AHRC's successful community dinner Friday.
