First and foremost, your hard work and dedication is always valued and appreciated, but especially over the past few weeks. We are extremely excited about the opportunities and improvements that the AlayaCare transition has presented us with. 

 

ALAYACARE TASK DOCUMENTATION UPDATE 

One familiar capability that we would like to highlight is completing the documentation of the care you provide electronically. We are so very proud of our caregiving team and the fine work that you all do day after day and it’s important that this work is reflected in the records. This responsibility will not only ensure rules and regulations are upheld, but also shows the value and commitment you have to your duties as a care provider.  

 

Beginning as early as today you may see interventions or tasks start to populate in your client’s ‘Service Tasks’ section under ‘Care Delivery’ in the AlayaCare App. We ask that you begin familiarizing yourself with this section, its information, and the responsibility of documenting here. 

 

LOOKING AHEAD 

Beginning 3/4/24, the required interventions (tasks), forms, and goals need to be completed for the system to allow you to clock out. Therefore, using the next few weeks to get accustomed to documenting your tasks in this manner will be incredibly beneficial. 

Please note that some of the loaded tasks you currently see may not be relevant for your patient, but the nurses are going through one by one to update the care plans for accuracy. There is no need to alert anyone around inaccurate or missing items until after 3/11/24, when the nurses have had the opportunity to do this for every patient.  

 

IMPORTANT RESOURCES 

We will include some resources here on how to locate and complete this within the app. As always, your office team will assist you with any questions you have and again, you have our upmost gratitude for the work that you do and your understanding during this transition.

IMPORTANT DATES:  

  • Monday, February 16th – You will see a basic and nonspecific care plan and tasks entered under your client’s Care Plan and ‘Service Tasks’ section.  
  • Please begin documenting completion of the relevant tasks for your patient to familiarize yourself with the process. We are aware that some of the items will not be relevant until the clinical adjustment takes place.  
  • Monday, March 4th – Documentation of the required service tasks is required and must be complete to clock out. 
  • Monday, March 11th – All care plans should be updated and accurate. After this date, please notify the clinical team with any corrections to the Service Tasks section of your client’s Care Plan.
