Churchmouse Vendor Fair, Saturday, Sept. 13, Lake Luzerne UMC

UNY Conference United Women in Faith Annual Meeting, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, Foothills Worship Center, Johnstown

The UNY Conference Annual United Women in Faith meeting will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17 and Oct. 18 at Foothills Worship Center, 305 Jansen Ave., Johnstown. Registration: $20. Forms will be available as the date draws nearer. Friday's event begins at 5:30 PM with a pizza party, followed by opening worship and leadership training. Saturday's event begins at 9 AM with a "Koffee" hour. Lunch will also be served. There will be a business meeting/election of officers, keynote speech by Pastor Corey Turnpenny of Church of the Wild, who will speak on Climate Justice. Save the Date! Adirondack/Albany District Day, Saturday, Oct. 25, Saratoga Springs UMC

Please join us for the 2025 District Day on Saturday, Oct. 25! It will once again be held at the Saratoga Springs UMC, 175 Fifth Ave., Saratoga Springs. Approximately 20 workshops will be offered during 3 timeslots. The day will begin with worship at 9 AM and will conclude at 3 PM. Lunch is provided. There will be facilitators from our Conference Missional Excellence Team, as well as our District Superintendent, some district pastors, our Adirondack District Lay Leader and the Albany District Lay Servant Director. Look for more information in upcoming newsletters. We haven't finalized all workshop topics yet. Pine Grove UMC, 1580 Central Ave., Colonie, has communion service trays available to anyone interested at no charge. There are 9 complete sets of the large trays with individual cup holders and 3 of these also have covers. There are 6 sets of the smaller trays with open centers. Also some random extra pieces.
