Last Week Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, announced the federal, provincial & territorial governments have reached an agreement to implement the much needed Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) program. This will lower rent by 75 per cent for small businesses.
 
The recent announcement is part of the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan. More details about CERCA will be available once final terms and conditions are completed. The federal government, provincial and territorial governments urge property owners to provide flexibility to tenants facing hardship in this uncertain time.
