Today is the first day that applications are open for the $2,000 monthly payment to individuals who qualify.  Applications are being accepted today for people with birthdays in the months of January, February, and March .  You must have a CRA My Account to be eligible for the funding (for online). If you apply by phone you'll need your Social Insurance number and Postal Code. 

  • Mondays: those born in January/February/March
  • Tuesdays: those born in April/May/June
  • Wednesdays: those born in July/August/September
  • Thursdays: those born in October/November/December
  • Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays: any month

During a crisis, relevant and timely data is mission critical, and that's why the Canadian Chamber has partnered with Statistics Canada to  understand   what   businesses are going through during this unprecedented time, but also going forward as we recover and return to growth.

As COVID-19 continues to disrupt economies around the world, it is essential to have current data to fully understand the extent of the impact on businesses in Canada, and for making informed decisions in the weeks and months ahead.  We are encouraging all members of the business community to participate in this survey.
