Douglas Wallen is the Chef de Cuisine at Aldaco's. As a child, he was raised on ranches and grew up watching his parents create meals with local produce and ingredients. Now a San Antonio local with over 15 years of experience in the kitchen, Chef Doug enjoys creating signature South Texas dishes and adds seasonal dishes to the menu. He gains his inspiration from the world's cultures and food history.
Every last Saturday of the month, Chef Doug teaches Cooking with Aldaco's at Sunset Station at 12 noon. His contributions have helped Aldaco's grow to be a favorite destination for San Antonians looking to savor the unique margaritas, traditional cuisine, original pastel tres leches and all the flavors of Mexico. |
