The Lost & Found is OVERFLOWING!
|
There are so many great items in our lost and found, located just inside the front entrance of the school. If you can find some time to come in and take a look, you may just find something you didn't even know your child was missing! Remind your student to go through the racks and table and see if we can send these things home where they belong.

What's Happening at School?
|
At Alder Creek Middle School we encourage middle schoolers to be responsible and self motivated. With this in mind, there is a daily bulletin to inform students of club meetings, sports tryouts and school schedules. The daily bulletin, as well as past bulletins, the weekly Cougar News and the calendar of events, are available on the
ACMS school website
. Everything is in the lower right corner of the website. Stay in the know!

Happy Valentine's Day!
February 14th
|
Valentine greetings were popular as far back as the Middle Ages, though written Valentine's didn't begin to appear until after 1400. The oldest known valentine still in existence today was a poem written in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London. By the middle of the 18th century, it was common for friends and loved ones to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes, and by 1900 printed cards began to replace written letters due to improvements in printing technology.
