The Labor Day holiday is a day for us to recognize the contributions and achievements of American workers. The 38th Ward Public Service Office will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. Please note there will be a change in the refuse collection schedule. Black and blue carts will not be collected on Monday. Collection will resume Tuesday, September 6th. Please ensure all refuse carts are accessible throughout the week and not solely on the usual day of pick up until they are serviced. I hope you enjoy the last few weeks of summer and have a relaxing Labor Day weekend!

Support the Police T-shirts are available for purchase at the 38th Ward Office, 3821 N Harlem, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm. Prices of T-shirts size small through XL=$10, size 2XL=$12, size 3XL=$14. All proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the 16th District Police Fund and Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation.

Please look out for no parking signs. Cars that are not moved on street sweeping days prohibit the sweeper from thoroughly cleaning the street. Also, tickets will be issued to cars not complying with the no parking signs. Thank you for your cooperation.
