December 4th Update

Dear Friend,

If you are interested in appealing your property taxes, the 38th Ward Office is hosting a Property Tax Appeal Analyst Day with the Cook County Board of Review on Tuesday, December 16th from 10am to 2pm. The Board of Review analysts will be on site at our office, 3821 N Harlem, assisting with appeals and answering questions.

Registration is highly suggested, scan the QR code below. Attendees will be seen on a first come first serve basis. Please bring a copy of your most recent tax bill, or Property Tax Number (PIN) with you. If you are unable to attend, you can click HERE to file an appeal online.

Join us at our Toy Drive on Saturday, December 13th between 11am to 1pm. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for 38th Ward families in need and Toys for Tots. This is a drive-up event in front of the 38th Ward Office at 3821 N Harlem. The Grinch will be helping us collect the donations. If you are unable to attend this event, we accept toys Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm. Your generosity is appreciated and means so much to many families, especially this time of year!

Meet Brixton! Brixton is bright. One of our top students. He thrives in nose work, crushes agility, and lights up when he has a job to do. He’s a playgroup regular with the high-energy crew and soaks up every minute he gets with volunteers.

Brixton has been waiting patiently for someone to choose him, and he is more than ready for a home of his own. Smart, energetic pups feel shelter life more than most, and we’re hoping he finds his family soon. To see Brixton in action, click HERE and HERE.
